Exciting News! 🎉 Yesterday, we proudly cut the ribbon at the brand-new LVHN Childcare Center in partnership with River Crossing YMCA! Located at Westgate Mall in Bethlehem, this state-of-the-art facility provides LVHN colleagues with much-needed childcare services.The 10,000-square-foot facility includes nine age-appropriate classrooms, a multipurpose room for indoor gross motor activities, a full kitchen and two outdoor playground areas. The center is part of the comprehensive health network built just for kids at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital.“LVHN surveys our colleagues annually to collect feedback about how we can make LVHN an even better place to work,” said Jim Miller, President of Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, which is located adjacent to the center. “In recent surveys, colleagues expressed the need for greater access to childcare, and we are proud to give our colleagues what they asked for.”Learn more about our partnership with River Crossing YMCA: https://bit.ly/46lvA1V.

Joining a small, but growing, national trend, LVHN’s MedEvac ground ambulances and helicopters have joined with HNL Lab Medicine to provide potentially lifesaving blood transfusions to patients before they reach the ER.
